When should I request my order?

All of our items are fresh made to order! For Signature June and Ginger cakes, you can order up to three days in advance of your event. For custom items such as cake pops, cupcakes, decorative cookies and cakes, we recommend inquiring at least a month in advance of your event.


How do I request an order?

Orders can be requested on our website main page under "contact us".

If you have questions or need assistance with placing your order please email us at hello@juneandginger.com or text 401-400-2566 and we will be in touch to discuss additional details about your request.


When is my order confirmed?

To reserve the date for your orders over $100 we require a non-refundable retainer of 50% of your invoice total within 48 hours of the sent invoice. For orders under $100 payment is due in full at time of booking. We will not hold a date without the full retainer paid. If the retainer is not paid within 48 hours your order will be canceled and the date will become available to the next customer.


Orders placed within 2 weeks of event dates require payment in full at time of invoicing.


You must also have a signed, completed contract on file before your date is reserved. If you have any questions about any of the Terms and Conditions, please contact June and Ginger LLC immediately and prior to signing.


Final Payment

Remaining balances are due one week prior to your event unless otherwise discussed. These alternative terms will be noted on your invoice. Failure to pay the remaining balance one week prior to your event will result in a forfeit of your retainer and cancelation of your order.


Change Requests

Change requests must be made at least two weeks before the order is delivered/picked up. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate change requests. Change requests are subject to additional fees.


Cancelations/Date Changes

In the event you cancel your event or change the date: The 50% retainer is non-refundable. We will hold the retainer on your account and it can be applied towards a future order. Please remember all reschedule requests are subject to availability.


How Do I Collect My Order?

All orders are to be picked up from June and Ginger LLC at the agreed upon day and time. Please note that your EVENT DATE and TIME may not be the same as your PICKUP DATE and TIME.


If the customer elects to pick up the cake, the customer is responsible for the cake as soon as it leaves June and Ginger LLC premises. Upon visual inspection of cake and its departure from the premises, the customer approves the orders visual appearance and waives any rights to a refund based on the style, design or visual appearance of the cake.


Delivery is available at customer request for $1.00 per mile round trip from June and Ginger LLC. Mileage will be determined using Google Maps. Delivery is subject to availability. Delivery over 1 hour round trip is subject to additional fees.


Do you make special dietary products?

We offer Gluten-free, Sugar-Free, Dairy-Free and Vegan products. However, all items are baked in a kitchen that contains common allergens and ordering is not recommended for those with severe allergies.


Is this a storefront bakery?

June and Ginger is a home based cottage bakery licensed under the regulations set forth by the state of Rhode Island.


Can you make this exact cake/cookie/cake pop I saw on Pinterest/TikTok/Instagram etc?

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! However, when designing your product we cannot guarantee an exact photo request duplication. We will always use your photos as inspiration and will do our best to meet your expectations.


Is there a right way to cut a cake?

There is no right or wrong way to cut a cake! If you're looking to get the recommended number of servings and cut your cake without a huge mess, we have a great cake cutting guide for you!


Last-Minute Orders

If you would like to place a custom order with less than a week's notice or a signature cake with less than 3 days notice (and the time slot is available) the total amount of the order is due at booking and will be subject to an additional fee.


Refunds & Returns Policy

June and Ginger LLC will not offer refunds or exchanges for custom products that meet our quality standards once a cake has been picked up/delivered and “Accepted” by you or another designated party. Additionally, under no circumstances will June and Ginger LLC provide a refund in excess of the cost of the order.


All products are the responsibility of the customer once it leaves our possession. Refund requests due to decorating style, color shade or general decoration design will not be honored or considered. We only give refunds if the product does not meet the flavor, size, and general description detailed above.


Cake flavor and texture is subjective. Refunds requested due to flavor or texture after cake has been accepted and picked up will be at the sole discretion of June and Ginger LLC. June and Ginger LLC may consider a store credit if the product is brought back to us and the quality of the cake flavor or texture is determined not to meet our standards within 24 hours of your event.


Please note, we do taste our items to insure the highest quality. Quality determination is solely at the discretion of June and Ginger LLC. Keep in mind, variety in temperature and humidity may impact the flavor, overall design, or texture of the items to some degree. Please understand we cannot control changes in texture or changes in color or shape due to weather conditions.
